This is now...
After making a living as a singer-songwriter, touring for nearly four decades, Barbara has detoured back to the path strayed from in College where she majored in art. While music was her job all those years, art remained her passion. She is a painter of portraits. Her portraits are of people, pets, posies, and places, but most often 'heads', up close and personal. Portrait commission work keeps her busy, but she has learned to make time to paint just for pleasure. Maybe the subject is someone who caught her eye, or simply a moment in time. Her work includes subjects from various walks of life who live all around the world.
Now, when she's not painting, she's co-directing Kanuga Watermedia Workshops in Hendersonville, NC, with her husband Chris.
