(Barbara Bailey Hutchison ©Christara
Publishing)
Wake up wake up you sleepyhead
Get up get up get out of bed
Times a wasting and this day's begun
Wake up wake up rise and shine
Get up get up put your hand in mine
Are you ready to have some fun
Oh the sun is shining outside
Begging us to play
I can hear her calling
Come out come out hey hey!
Wake up wake up you sleepyhead
Get up get up get out of bed
Times a wasting and this day's begun
Wake up wake up rise and shine
Get up get up put your hand in mine
Are you ready to have some fun
Cat In The Sink

(Julie Schroeder & Kay Gilbertson -
©Schroeder Music)
Oh it's hard to brush your teeth
With a cat in the sink
And it's hard to write your name
When your pen's out of ink
Oh it's tough and it's hard getting ready every day
You gotta go to school and you can't be late
Oh it's hard to brush your teeth
With a cat in the sink
La la la la la la la la la la la la la
Oh it's hard to ride your bike
When your tire's got a leak
And it hurts to chew your food
When you bite on your cheek
Oh you can't run fast if your shoes don't fit
You can't play tag if nobody's it
Oh it's hard to ride your bike
When your tire's got a leak
La la la la la la la la la la la la la
Cookies are hard when they're all dried up
You can't drink milk with a hole in your cup
Old old bubble gum is hard to chew
You can't solve a mystery without a clue
Oh it's hard to brush your teeth
With a cat in the sink
And it's hard to love your feet
When they're hot and they stink
Oh it's tough and it's hard getting ready every day
You gotta go to school and you can't be late
Oh it's hard to brush your teeth
With a cat in the sink
La la la la la la la la la la la la la

Don't Make Me
(Info soon to come!)
Don't make me go to school today
Oh Mom, don't make me go to school
I've got a high fever and my throat is sore
Oh Mom, don't make me go to school
Just let me lie here in misery
You go off to work I'll be fine
Because I'm too week to even watch TV
Oh Mom, don't make me go to school
It's not because of the test today
Or the homework I haven't done please let me stay
I'll do the dishes I'll walk the dog
I will wash the dog
I'll clean up my room
Pick up my toys
Sweep up and vacuum and dust
Just don't make me go to school today
Oh Mom, don't make me go to school

It's a Rainy Day
(Barbara Bailey Hutchison ©Christara
Publishing)
It's a rainy day
And we can't go out
Well I wanna play
But we have to stay inside
It's a rainy day
And we have to play inside
Well what can you do on a rainy day
When you can't go out a play
I can think of a million things to do...Can't you
We can play hide and seek
I'll hide first if you won't peek
And when you find me then you'll hide and I'll find
you
If we get to tired to look
Maybe then we'll read a book
The red caboose or Dr. Suess
It's up to you
It's a rainy day
And we can't go out
Well I wanna play
But we have to stay inside
It's a rainy day
And we have to play inside
We can fill the tub with water
Race our boats have a real regatta
And when we get really wet we'll jump in too
We can sail overseas
In the bathtub on our knees
And when our fingers shrivel up
We'll pull the plug
It's a rainy day
And we can't go out
Well I wanna play
But we have to stay inside
It's a rainy day
And we have to play
It's a rainy day
And we have to play
It's a rainy day
And we get to play inside

POTATO
(Music traditional, words by Cheryl Wheeler, ACF Music
Group)
They're red they're white they're brown
They get that way underground
There can't be much to do
So now they have blue ones too
We don't care what they look like we'll eat them
Any way they can fit on our plate
Every way we can conjure to heat them
We're delighted and think they're just great
Potato potato potato po
tatopo tatopo tatopo ta
topota topota topota to
potato potato potato
Sometimes we ditch the skin
To eat what it's holding it
Sometimes we'd rather please
Have just the outside with cheese
They have eyes but they do not have faces
I don't know if their feelings get hurt
By just lying around in dark places
Where they only can stare at the dirt
I guess the use is scant
For other parts of the plant
But that which grows in view
Is eating potato too
I imagine them under their acres
Out in Idaho and up in Maine
Maybe wondering if they'll be bakers
Or French fries or latkes or plain

Won't You Be My Friend
Won't you be my friend
Won't you take my hand
Won't you come right here
And beside me stand
Won't you be my friend
Won't you dry my tears
Won't you make me laugh
We'll be friends for years
We are different on the outside it's plain to see
Just one look can tell you from me
One look on the inside we're all the same
We're only people with different names
Won't you be my friend
Won't you take my hand
Won't you come right here
And beside me stand
Won't you be my friend
Won't you dry my tears
Won't you make me laugh
We'll be friends for years
We can talk on the phone you can come see me
Mom says it's okay we can watch TV
I might make you laugh
You might make me cry
But we can still be friends if we really try

Listen To The Mustn'ts
(Shel Silverstein)
Listen to the mustn'ts child
Listen to the don'ts
Listen to the shouldn't s
The impossibles
The won'ts
Listen to the never haves
Then listen close to me
Anything can happen child
Anything can be

La Mama
(Words by Candy Hersch & James Hersch, Music:
Richie Valens, Dakota Road Music, Warner-Tamerlane Pub.
Co. & Windswept Pacific Songs)
La la la listen to your mama
La la la listen to your mama
She knows all
Don't drag mud on the carpet
Wipe your feet
Don't do crayons upon the wall
La la la listen to your papa
La la la listen to your papa
When he says
Better jump in the bath tub
Brush your teeth
Just one book and it's off to bed
La la mama
La la papa
La la la listen to your grandma
La la la listen to your grandma
It's not hard
She will buy you a bunch of new toys
And put them all on grandpa's credit card
La la la listen to your mama
La la la listen to your papa
La la la listen to your grandma
La la la listen to your mama

Little Bird
(Julie Schroeder, ©Schroeder Music)
It was spring and the sun was bright the nest was
warm
Mother bird sang into the wind her child was born
And a tear of a joyous love was in her eye
Little Bird someday you will fly
Father bird saw his little bird and flew so high
He was proud he had joy inside he couldn't hide
And he sang for the world to hear about his child
Little Bird someday you will fly
Summer came and the days grew long
Little bird was becoming strong
Oh the child wished for light
Little Bird practiced day and night
Flap my wings
Stay relaxed
Keep the wind to my back
Mother says
When in flight
Always keep your heart light
And I know
hen I'm strong enough
I will fly t
To the highest top of a tree
And I'll finally live my dreams
Father Bird showed his little bird how he could
fly
He would glide tilt a wing just right and start to
dive
And he sang to his eager child as he flew by
Little Bird someday soon you will fly
It was clear and the wind was light
Father Bird said this day feels right
Little Bird, goes your heart feel light
I believe you can make your flight
Flap my wings (Go ahead)
Stay relaxed (I'm right here)
Keep the wind (It's all right)
To my back (Don't you fear)
I'm afraid (It's okay)
Should I try (You can fly)
Yes I think (I believe)
I can fly (That it's time)
Take a breath (See the sky . .. overhead)
And I go for it
Should I look (Climb the wind . . .Look ahead)
Am I done for yet
I can feel (Spread your wings)
Wind inside my wings
I can fly (You can fly)
I'm above the trees (You're above the trees)
Little Bird on a solo flight was quite a site
Mother Bird and Father Bird sang in delight
And a tear of a joyous love was in their eyes
Little Bird We knew you could fly
We knew you could fly

Love Grows

(Carol Johnson, ©Noelder Music)
Love grows one by one
two by two and four by four
Love grows round like a circle and
Comes back knocking at your front door
Note by note we make a song
Voice by voice we sing it
Choir by choir we fill up the world
With the music that we bring it
Love grows one by one
two by two and four by four
Love grows round like a circle and
Comes back knocking at your front door
Let me take your hand my friend
We'll each take the hand of another
One by one we'll reach for all our sisters and our
brothers
Love grows one by one
two by two and four by four
Love grows round like a circle and
Comes back knocking at your front door
